The song in my music player is "Stella By Starlight".

I received this song in January from my friend Martin when I was feeling the blues after I lost my job of over 18 1/2 years as a paralegal for a large law firm in Chicago.  My Friend, Martin passed away at age 66 on March 13.  He played sax with Jerry Garcia in Legion of Mary and the Jerry Garcia Band.  He played sax on the Wake of the Flood Grateful Dead album.  He was one of the original members of California jamband "Zero".  He played in the Sir Douglas Quintet and Mother Earth to name a few.  More recently played with String Cheese Incident, Galactic, Moe, Dark Star Orchestra. He had his own jazz bands, among them MFQ, the Martin Fierro Quartet or Quintet depending on who played with him. Basically wherever he went he took his sax and when he went to a concert everyone would always ask him to join them on stage.  He had some of the corniest jokes on stage.  Anyways in this song, he is singing it. He was a Mexican Indian and was born in Mexico and grew up in El Paso, Texas before coming to San Francisco to join the 60's music scene.
